Treatment decisions depend on individual factors that can only be evaluated during a consultation with Dr. Mughni.
If you would like to discuss a concern with Dr. Mughni, you can send a WhatsApp message or call 01842-182545, or leave your details in the request form on this page. The clinic replies to confirm the chamber, day and time.
How do I request a consultation with Dr. Mughni?
A consultation can be requested by WhatsApp message, by phone on 01842-182545 or through the request form on this page.
A request needs only your name, the concern you want to discuss, the chamber you prefer and a preferred day. The form asks for the same details. Consultations cover every procedure Dr. Mughni performs, including nose reshaping, hair transplant, breast surgery, male breast reduction, abdominoplasty, non-surgical treatments such as Botox, reconstructive surgery and diabetic foot care. His training and career are set out on Dr. Mughni’s profile.
Which chamber should I choose?
All consultations, treatments and surgeries are available at both chambers, so the choice comes down to which day and location suit you.
| Chamber | Consultation days and times | First-visit fee |
|---|---|---|
| EKAGRA Health, Road 2, Dhanmondi, Dhaka 1209 | Saturday, Monday, Thursday 4:00–8:00 PM; Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9:00 AM–2:00 PM | BDT 1,200 |

What happens at the first consultation?
Dr. Mughni listens to your concern, reviews your medical history, examines you and explains the options, including whether a procedure is right for you at all.
As Dr. Chowdhury Rashedul Mughni puts it: “Always a pre-operative discussion with the patient is a must to task for me.”
The same discussion sets honest expectations: what a procedure can and cannot change, the scar it leaves and how long the result takes to settle.
The treatment plan and its final cost are decided at this assessment, not before. You do not need to decide on the day. The Royal College of Surgeons of England advises taking at least two weeks after a consultation before committing to surgery.
What should I bring?
Your medical details keep the consultation focused on you.
• A list of previous surgeries, with dates
• Your current medicines
• Any allergies
• Recent test reports, including blood sugar results if you have diabetes
• A written list of questions
• Comfortable clothing, if your concern involves the body
• A family member or friend, if you would like one with you
What if a diabetic foot wound is getting worse?
A worsening diabetic foot needs care the same day, not a routine appointment.
A foot that is red, hot or swollen, a new or spreading wound, new pain or signs of infection should be seen promptly. Contact your treating doctor straight away, or go to the nearest hospital emergency department. Dr. Mughni’s approach to diabetic foot assessment and limb salvage is set out separately.
Frequently asked questions
Can I request a consultation on WhatsApp?
Yes. A WhatsApp message to 01842-182545 with your name, your concern, the chamber you prefer and a preferred day is enough. The same number takes calls for both chambers. The clinic replies to confirm the day and time of your consultation with Dr. Mughni.
What is the consultation fee?
The first-visit fee is BDT 1,200 at EKAGRA Health, Dhanmondi, and BDT 1,500 at Cosmetic Surgery Centre, Satmasjid Road. The fee covers the consultation only, and it is not waived if you later decide to go ahead with surgery. Any procedure cost is quoted separately after your assessment.
Will I get a surgery cost at the first visit?
Yes, once Dr. Mughni has assessed you. The final cost depends on the procedure, the technique chosen and your individual case, so it is set after examination rather than over the phone. Medicines, bed rent and pre-operative tests are usually billed separately.
How do I pay?
Cash in BDT, credit card and bank transfer are accepted. For procedures, payment is made in stages: at booking, on the day of surgery and after surgery. There are no EMI or insurance arrangements at present. Staged amounts are set once your treatment plan is agreed.
Can I arrange a consultation from outside Dhaka or abroad?
Yes. Patients from other cities or from abroad can message +88 01842-182545 on WhatsApp to plan a visit around a chamber day. An in-person assessment is needed before any treatment plan or cost is confirmed, so allow time in Dhaka for the consultation itself.
Do I need tests before the first consultation?
No tests are needed to request a consultation. Bring any recent reports you already have. If surgery is planned, Dr. Mughni will advise which pre-operative investigations are needed. These are billed separately, and the cost depends on the diagnostic centre where they are done.
A consultation is a conversation, not a commitment. You leave with an honest view of what can be done and time to decide.
